Soror Dr. Evelyn Sears Peevy
Soror Dr. Evelyn Sears Peevy was a very active, dedicated and committed member of Alpha Chi Chapter from 1946 until November, 2017. Soror Peevy rendered loyal and faithful service to Iota as Chapter President, from 1955 to 1958; as the Tenth Eastern Regional Director from 1965-1969; as Chapter, Regional and National Soror of the Year in 1976; as Alpha Chi’s Business Woman of the Year in 1982; and as the Twelfth National President from 1983-1985. Soror Peevy exhibited a deep interest and uniform attentiveness to the activities of this business and professional women’s sorority. Alpha Chi Chapter will forever cherish the memory of our dear sister, Dr. Evelyn Sears Peevy.
