National Projects
& Community Involvement
Many of the sorors are active in community programs and projects. Their involvement covers a broad spectrum of concerns---from home issues to political involvement. Their journeys have taken them from local, state and national levels in pursuit of what is right and just for everyone. Some areas include voter registration, working the Electoral Board, church and community soup kitchens and clothes closets, Food Bank, Salvation Army, Health instructions and caregiving, planning and carrying out career exploration clinics. They also serve on Boards of Directors at churches, community organizations, colleges and hospitals.
